When Terry Fox
recognized that he would not be able to complete his
Marathon of Hope for cancer research in 1980, he
bequeathed his mission to his fellow Canadians and The
Terry Fox Run began.
In keeping with the
approach of its founder, the Run is a volunteer-led
event, all-inclusive, non-competitive, with no
pre-registration, entry fees or fundraising minimums.
